The school are looking to appoint an outstanding, committed, and motivated Teacher of English to join our academy in January 2023 on a full-time permanent basis.
John Whitgift Academy are looking to appoint an outstanding, committed, and motivated Teacher of English to join our academy in January 2023 on a full-time permanent basis. Â ECTs are welcome to apply. Â The salary is paid on the MPR/UPR Pay scales.
How would you like to join a rapidly expanding academy which is heading towards outstanding. Â Our student numbers are increasing year by year and we are the highest performing academy in North East Lincolnshire and are in the top 4% of the most improved academies in the country. Â As an academy we are continually building on our strengths and are proud to have the highest of expectations.
Our academy
We currently have over 730 students on role aged 11 to 16. Â Our academy is situated close to the A180 making it ideal for commuting. Despite being one of the most rapidly growing academies in North East Lincolnshire, due, primarily to our success and outcomes, relationships between students and staff are excellent and we have maintained a small school friendly atmosphere. Â Behaviour in our academy is good with a relentless focus upon learning and aspiration. Â
In addition, we are fortunate to have some outstanding facilities that help to further enhance the quality of teaching and learning, such as, an Engineering block, 2 full size swimming pools and a 207 seater cinema.Â
